Vehicle Operation Training

Operating emergency vehicles is serious business that requires continuous training.

Driving a fire truck is not as simple as getting a license and getting behind the wheel. These apparatus are bigger, longer, and heavier than your average vehicle. A big part of our job is getting to and from emergency calls as safely and quickly as possible. This is not possible without special training, continuing education, and practice.

This week your Los Fresnos firefighters refreshed on emergency vehicle operations so that we can continue to provide the best service to our community. Our driver practiced several emergency maneuvers and drove through an obstacle simulating course.
